Faculty of Management Engineering
Faculty of Management Engineering offers 7 full-time programs, consisting of Construction Cost, Construction Management, Information Management on Architectural Project, Real Estate Operation and Management, Real Estate Inspection and Valuation, Real Estate Marketing, Property Management, for over 3,300 three-year diploma students.
It now owns a faculty of 74 members, including 50 full-time teachers, all of which are either with Mater degrees (or above ) or with at least relevant learning experiences. 1 teacher has the title of professor and 26 are associate professors, taking up 54% of the teaching population.60% teachers are entitled with Registered Cost Engineer or Constructor (Band 1).
The faculty team is highly qualified in many aspects, ranging from teaching competitions to reaching innovation. So far, so many achievements have been made: 1 teaching team has been evaluated by the Department of Education of Guangxi as excellent; 29 research projects have been presided; 98 academic essays and 24 teaching books have been published, and 3 projects have been patented in China. In terms of teaching competition, the teachers have won 2 second prizes in Teaching Achievement Award of Guangxi, 1 first prize in National Multimedia Teaching Methods Development Competition, 1 second prize in National Vocational School Information Teaching Competition (Classroom Teaching Section), 4 first prizes and 2 second prizes and the award of “The Best Teaching Design” in Guangxi Vocational School Information Teaching Competition.
In addition, the faculty has 1 program has been evaluated by the Ministry of Education as elite, 1 program has been evaluated by the Department of Education of Guangxi as exemplary; 1 program has been designated by the Department of Education the programs with distinctive features and unraveled strengths in Guangxi; 1 course modules has been recognized by the Ministry of Education as the high quality course module, 2 course modules have been recognized by the Department of Education of Guangxi as the high quality course modules,1 course module video has been used by the Ministry of Education for other higher education institutions in China to watch and learn. 3 training bases have been set up, 1 of which is receiving the support from Centre Ministry of Finance, and the other 2 are evaluated by the Department of Education as exemplary in Guangxi.
In recent years, the students have won many prizes in different sections of National Vocational School Competition,including 26 first prizes, 26 second prizes and 32 third prizes.
